Cheeses meats veggies anything that's "sugar free". I'm a type 1 diabetic it's hard just to make sure I have enough carbs let alone find the in between foods that won't affect my sugars. Make a salad. Cook a hot dog. Eat string cheese. There's a lot that you can have.
I'm on the same boat, and I hate it so much. I cry when my number is above 95 after 2 hours
I eat roasted almonds or a salad for a snack
I know how it is im in the same position I always make a chicken breast with lemon juice and put it in the oven with carrots and red potatoes
I think ive stuffed myself with those enough! Lol
