Getting Pregnant

Hey all... not sure if anyone else asked this question yet, but I a hoping that someone will have an answer for me.  I had my IUD removed on Feb. 14th.  How long until my body becomes fertile again?  We really want to add to our family and have another baby.

it only took me 3 months after iud removal. it seemed like a long wait, but with hindsight it wasn't long at all. expect lots of pregnancy like symptoms for a couple of  months, the month i gave up and actually ignored them i actually was pregnant! good luck!

Oh that is a bad idea. Your surge never happens in the morning, always later in the day. You need to test in the late morning and then again in the afternoon. Best times are between 10am an 8pm.

I have not been using them twice a day.  I have only been testing when I wake up in the morning, usually around 630am.  What would be a good time to test again?

Could still be early, just keeping trying. Are you using them twice a day?If not, then do so. Don't want to miss the chance of picking up that surge.

Just remember, like I said, can take a few months for your cycles to regulate so irregular period can be expected and you might not ovulate as early as you think. You;ll get there though.

It could be right away, could be a few months. There is no set time for your to become fertile again after coming birth control. For some women it takes a few months for their cycles to regulate and others it happens right away. Best thing you can do is track your cycles, so start with the first day you get your period and that is cycle day one, and then from about cycle day 10 onwards, have sex every other day until before your next cycle is due. You can also try using OPKs to see when you ovulate - since that's when you need to be having sex. You should use them every day from CD10 onwards.
