I would talk to your worker next month when you go back and I would tell her how you felt and how rude she was, I would tell her that you would like to put in a compliant that's bs us as pregnant women our body's are going through hella sh*t that we know an don't need to be reminded of like stretch marks and weight gain

I've gained 21 pounds so far 32 weeks. The average wait gain is 20 to 35 pounds.  Wow, that's wrong, we are pregnant and to add FTM on top... we already feel huge and our bodies are going through odd changes. To be honest, you handled that way better than I would have. Hormones. No two people are a like everyone handles things differently. Nope would not have been a good thing to say to this prego chick. I give you a hug for the awful comment and a high five for being able to not snap at her.

My sister in law ia about 5'7" and had Emma in October '13 she only gained 17 pounds. Emma was 7lbs 8 oz. I am 5'3" and in '12 I had my son. I gained 52 lbs with him!!! He was 8lbs 4 oz. And I walked all the time. It all depends on how your body is. Every pregnacy is different. I am sure you have heard that before! I am on my second baby. Girl this time. I am 18 weeks and have already gained 16 lbs. On my feet all day and take my son for our nightly walk every night but weds. That's lazy popcorn movie! Dont let WIC people talk to you like that.  I stopped WIC after my son turned 1 which wqs almoat 2 years ago. The people in my town at the WIC office are rude and ignorant and think you are a p.o.s because you use it! Just be happy and make sure you and baby arehealthy! That ia all that matters! :-)

I would have just told her straight up that I'm pregnant and not fat. And that my weight is non of her concern. And that she should watch what she says. But I'm very out spoken. Secondly you should complain to a higher up. And tell them you don't appreciate their workers making you feel uncomfortable and degraded. And that tha type of emotional abuse and and criticism can get them in serious trouble.

Kindly remind her she is not your dr, and she knows nothing about your pre pregnancy weight, medical history etc and if she is not your dr she has no room to tell you how much you should be eating., it does not concern her.
That would hurt me, that honestly sounds like she was being rude on purpose.
On your wic packet there should be two numbers you can call, call the hotline number and file a complaint., you'll need the persons name and the site number (address)
Then call into the office and ask to talk to who is in charge or head of staff and tell them what happened.
I would definitely voice my concerns

I would have complained about it.. To someone other than her. 19 pounds isn't unacceptable weight gain with majority of pregnancies. Wic gives me crap all the time about the fact that I've actually lost weight and am under my pre pregnancy weight. They even called my doctor and asked if she is monitoring my weight and asked why she isn't concerned. Umm.. Hello! She's not concerned because the baby is gaining weight and growing as he should, and I don't have any medical problems that are making me lose weight. I'm losing because this is how my body handles pregnancy! They also give me a ton of crap about my iron being .2 lower than they would like it to be.. Even though I'm taking a prenatal AND an additional iron supplement! They're super annoying sometimes, and quite rude even more often than annoying. :/

She could have meant more like a special diet to help you gain weight! I have gotten a lot of crap from people cause I'm due in 4 days and I've only gained 17 pounds
