It took me & my husband 6 months to get pregnant so don't worry, once u stop stressing about it, it will happen, here's a couple tips that helped us: I stopped working out, don't use lubrication, have an organism after he finishes inside u, it works as a vacuum affect, don't pee right after, lay in bed for about 30 minutes - u don't have to put ur legs up or anything & of course make sure to have sex while ur ovulating :) they say not to have too much sex cause that lowers his sperm count so try to save most of it for ovulation, oh & he should be on top! I hope this is helpful cause as soon as I tried all this is when it happened for us but make sure not to overload him cause him being stressed will make it hard for him to perform, keep it fun & good luck I know it can seem like forever & then u have to wait another 9 months haha take care!
Thanks so much ladies, your advice is a big help.
I will keep you all updateded on the progress.
Well i hope that its not going to take two years :) but i will start paying more attention to what my body is doing.
Congrats On your Pregnancy Jwilliams229, Fantastic news :)
I was on the pill for 11 years and came off of it about 6 months ago. It took me a few months to get intuned with my body and I relyed on this site heaverly for some wonderful informaiton. I used the ovulation tracker on here. Then I payed attention to my CM. I followed up by using ovulation prodictor kit from the dollor store and made sure when I got a positive that we bd every other day. Many women on this forum have givin this advice and it worked out well for us and got our positive this month. I credit it a lot to lisiting to my body and learning more about it. Good luck! And if you have any spacific questions just ask that is what we are here for.
No, you should not be concerned if you're not pregnant. You've only been trying for a few months, it can take up to 2 years to naturally fall pregnant. Many couples make the mistake of assuming pregnancy will happen immediately, and set themselves up for disappointment further down the road. Get a second pregnancy test and make sure to use it with first morning urine. If implantation did occur 17 days ago your hCG by now will be more than high enough to register on a test. You can also make an appointment with your doctor to have a beta blood test done to find out the exact level of hCG in your blood.
It can take up to a year for a couple to become pregnant, if u are worried about being pregnant u should call ur doc for a blood test to decide. Hpt can b wrong so if u haven't started and ur late call ur doctor
