Guys n video games

I swear my husband sometimes acts like a little kid. All this week he's been coming home early from work because of the holidays and all he does is go straight to his xbox. Ugh getting really tired of it. Sorry I little vent. Does anyone's husband do the same?

Yeah i swear if my husband isn't playing the xbox its his phone. If not that its the psp. sometimes it would be the computer but its messed up now.  he has plenty of stuff to choose from its so frustrating. and the walking in from of the tv ugh he swears its my fault he dies. tell me to go around the bed. i can hardly move now and he wants me to do that sh*t. He woke up this morning and straight to the damn xbox. I guess he won't have time to play after our son is born but i have a feeling he'll find a way. My husband is army too. were about to turn 21 in a couple of months.

My boyfriend does nothin' but play games, and It's frustrating. I will play some games with him but there's this one where he goes out and plays this one card game with his friends on a daily basis and It Is very annoying since he won't come home til' 2 or 3 In the morning! And then he doesn't understand why I'm upset... Ugh!!!

lol I go through this with my bf only its games on his phone like spades and solitaire. I used to do the same thing only it was facebook not games. When he got tired of it he would wave his hands in front of my screen and say "booga booga booga" lmao. I finally asked him one day why he did that and he said "because, I want your attention." So now I do it to him after I've had enough of his solitaire. I'll say "pay attention to me!" And he gets it lol.

My husband is addicted to skyrim. :/ he will sit at the computer for at least 12 hours at a time. Tonight we don't have our daughter and I decide it would be nice to have some alone time.
I go shower, shave (y'all know how hard that is.)  and when I'm done I notice he's on the PC playing.  Its just ruined my night ....
I play games when I get a few minutes to myself but he just goes overboard.

My husband used to be addicted to gaming it got in the way of normal living. After a lot of talking that mostly turned into arguments he broke one of his games, which I did not ask or want him to do and thought it was stupid he did because he had just gotten it from his mom for a Christmas present, to prove I was more important to him. I guess it was sweet but I knew we would have to rebuy the game so his mom wouldn't freak lol. Since then he cut way back on video games and only really plays them for long periods of time when he is stressed out and then I just let him know if I feel like he isn't paying attention to me.

lmao @shelly
i do the same with my hubby! i used to play with him but didn't feel like renewing my xbox thing lol. but when i've had enough i tell him "come give me love!" haha
but still...overall. ANNOYING AF. just saying lol
but in my first trimester he didn't play like AT ALL. then it hit him that when baby gets here, he's gonna be way too busy to even THINK about playing. its like his last chance at being a kid haha we just turned 20.

Im not a gaming person gives me a huge head ache and i s*ck at it lol. I just hope he doesn't do that when our baby is born. i usually don't let him play with it during weekdays but since his battle buddies have joined him he gets on more n the coming home early doesn't help either. When im annoyed already i tell him its me time and he usually gets out. its just irritating now he gets to into it and b*tches to much. i wish we could go out and do holiday stuff but we just hit a rough patch financially and don't have the money to go out :/ so that's not an option right now.

My husband did when we were together, not pregnant, and just dating. He used to play video games a lot, which is fine with me, I don't care at all, but after I got pregnant, we got married, he stopped. A LOT of it now, is he hates seeing kids that are constantly playing video games and not doing anything to occupy themselves physically, and he knows he's not setting a good example for his son, we don't have one gaming system, have very basic phones, and only use the computer and tv. It's going to get very, very annoying if he's neglecting his role as a parent because of the games (and you never know if he will or not til baby comes) but I'd just let you know it's becoming an issue and you'd like the two of you to spend the time you have together doing things you won't be able to when the baby comes.. it's the holidays, there's plenty of things the two of you can be doing together!

Yes mine is the same he will spend hours on it and god forbid I walk in front of the tv. I get so irritated with him and he makes a big deal when I ask him if I can watch tv now. I understand I dont work and he does support us but I do what I can . And on top of it he was the one who didnt want me to work!

We were both gaming allot when we found out but when my xbox game broke and his ps3 was still working I told him that since we don't have designated game time & a baby on the way then he had to cut back & he has dramatically! He only plays like once a week now... Maybe less! lol
