HEARTBURN :(

OK so I'm 19 weeks pregnant and I have had a terrible head cold (coughing,sneezing, sore throat and a runny nose). But on top of it all I have had horrible heartburn does any one know.of.any home remedies to help.with this?

Hey, not too ire about the head cold but I am 23 weeks pregnant and I had ridiculous heartburn!! I food gaviscon rubbish but rennies work an absolute treat and they are cheaper than gaviscon, I take the peppermint chewable ones and unlike gaviscon they don't get stuck in your teeth :) hope this helps x

Thanks I was running a fever so I took tylenol...ya I am.just dealing.with the cold part but will try the milk for the heartburn and the gum thanks

The rest of it? Sleep with head elevated and if you use a fan at night shut it off or add a humidifier. Dry air causes me to get a sore throat and cough. Runny nose I just dealt with until doctor said I can take clairitin. Not claritin d. Just the regular claritin. :)

Chew sugar free gum! Stopped my heartburn instantly almost! Read it in a free baby magazine I got from my doctor. :)

For heartburn drinking lots and lots of milk definately helps to ease it and it doesnt happen as often but as for the cold i have no suggestions sorry..:)
