Hi!
Congratulations!
It sounds like you may have an early case of round ligament pain.  The round ligament runs from the top of the uterus near the ovary, down the side of the uterus and out the front of the abdomen to the groin on both sides of the body.
It usually never causes any problems EXCEPT during pregnancy.
The good news is that it is not serious, the bad news is that there is not much to do about it, although it often goes away on its own.
If you were my patient, I would do an ultrasound to be sure that there was nothing else going on in there, but I'll bet its the old round ligament!
Good luck!

Well hun
Welcome to Pregnancy... I'm currently pregos with my second child after 5 years of TTC.
With this baby I have had nothing but cramping and the pain that your describing. I have been in the hospital a couple of times as I"m was just scared... But Baby is doing GREAT and growing.
Dr stated that it is called  round ligament pain. Meaning that the uterus is stretching. I can't remember  going through this with my first. I was alot busier with my first and worked in a nursing home. With this one I'm working at a desk... Can you say LAZY at 30,,,, hahahahah

Well take care and make sure that you talk to your dr about all your concerns. That is what their there for!!!!!

Hope that you have a happy full term pregnancy
