Has anyone every had a kidney stone?

Hey ladies... for the past 4 weeks I thought I was having really painful BH... because it would be in my lower back and on both sides and it would hurt so badly that i would be crying. I talked to my dotor and he said it could be BHs. but I talked to my dad and he told me it sounds like kidney stones... because the other day i had a little bright red blood in my urine and my dad said that is from kidney stones moving. When I get these pains I honestly feel like im going to pass out from the pain.. Is there anything to do for these? I know cranberry juice helps

drinking  plenty of fluid will help to get rid of them if they are small. If they are to big u will porbably neeed to have them crushed by the doctor. I know it I had kidney stones 5 times till they ested them and it came up That I hav them form calcium. And thanks God after I am on low caalcium diet and a lot fluid they didnt came back. So the most important is to get diagnosed , then get rid of them and get on special diet. Good luck

I have had 2 different kidney stones in the past!!  They hurt like hell.  But when they start moving, you would be in such excruciating pain that you couldn't even stand up!  If you are having blood in your urine, I would talk to the doctor and see if they can do a UA to see if you have a kidney infection!!  Cranberry juice will help to prevent bladder infections but not get rid of them.  The acid in Blueberries will help to alleviate symptoms of a bladder infections, but neither will help a kidney stone!  I would definately talk to the doctor again to let him know of the blood in your urine!  Good Luck
