Heartburn

Who else gets heartburn? I've heard that heartburn can mean your baby will have hair.

Real question: what do you take or do to help with the heartburn????!

I like the minty tums because it feels cool instantly. But most the time I just try to eat a banana & drink some milk. If its still bad then I people myself up... I try very hard not to take tums at all!

Its deff a wives tale. Because I had heart burn literally none stop every day I went threw like 10 things of tums during my pregnancy I ate them like candy becaude it only helped for a few minutes. My daughter came out may 4th  with very little hair  except with my first she had a ton of hair and I also had heart burn just not as bad as eith my 2nd with no hair lol. So it's not true.

Wow lots of mommies! Agreed its bad and *****! To the point where I don't wanna eat just knowing I could get it! I do take TUMS but that seems to help for little but then stops. Bottle says not to take more than 7 in 24 hours! And I was sure if could take over the counter stuff or not and keep forgetting to ask doctor when I'm there!

Thanks!

Heartburn is the worst. My husband suffers extremely bad from acid reflux and has been on several medications, along with having a camera down his throat to see what is wrong. Nothing has helped him so far. He also couldn't take breastmilk as a bub because of the reflux. I never knew what he would go through until I got pregnant. Having heartburn is horrible. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.
I refuse to take any medication (I'm old school) so I just have milk, sleep sitting up and wait it out.

Freezies are the only thing that doesn't give me heartburn, especially since baby likes to sit higher up on my tummy now. I used to take Tums but now I just drink some chocolate milk and wait it out, I've become so used to the feeling.
