High progesterone and clomid

by chill0381, Feb 06, 2008 11:55AM
Hey everyone! I'm new to this....
Well I've been on clomid 100mg for 2 cycles and we've been trying for 2 years. Last month my progesterone level was a 2.7 this month it was a 56. I took a pregnancy test 5 days before I'm due for my cycle, and got a negative reading. The nurse that gave me my results from my 21 day progesterone test said that that number is really high and that I could be preg. Is she right? If so why did I get a neg. on my hpt? Anyone have any advice for me?

Hello,

You may have tested too soon.  Check when you are do for your cycle and see what the result is.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
