Inderal during Pregnancy?

Hi all. I take Inderal which is a beta blocker for anxiety episodes. I only take 10mg maybe once or twice a month. My OBGYN said it is not recommended and to only take if the risks outweigh the benefits. I have not taken it yet and I am at the 4 month mark now.  It is really hindering my perfomance at work and wondering if it is ok to take a small dose once or twice a month. Thanks all!

Quick question - Were you taking Inderal on a daily basis or as needed?  I only take it when needed and don't know if that is dangerous since its not consistent.  Thanks!

Thank you so much!  I appreciate the post.  I guess the drug falls into Category C so they immediately said I couldn't take it.  Glad to hear everything went well with your baby boy!  Thanks again!

it's definitely safe I don't know why your OB said that...I had it prescribed by a Maternal Fetal Medicine Expert (a guy who really knows his medicine and the safety of it during pregnancy!) when I was pregnant with my son who was born completely healthy and full-term on July 14th. Don't worry about it whatsoever!
