Is it my baby

I posted a question on the Dr Forum , title was Ultrasound. Here is my situation. My Wifes first day of her last period was 10-27. We had sex on the 11th, the 13th, and the 15th. I did not ejaculate in her these times. On Dec 2nd she comes to me and says she wants to take a pregnancy test. We do and it comes back positive. We go for our Ultrasound yesterday and the tech finds the heartbeat, it is 119, and does the measuring required. We are thinking we were roughly 7 weeks but we are told the baby only measures 5 weeks. My questions are simple, i do not think my wife would cheat, but with such a varience do you think it is possible? I kow the 3 times we had sex, refferenced above. She is a very petite woman, does that have a factor in it? If the baby is measuring small, does that mean there is something wrong with the baby? She is very upset with me because these thoughts are running through my head, i need a proffessional opinion. We go back on Monday to see what the babies growth has done by then, thank you.

Don't worry about the size of the unborn until your doctor starts to worry. At my 19 week ultrasound the doctor said my son was measuring in at the size of 16 week, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing in at 7 pounds. Also, don't doubt your wife, you could have ejaculated without knowing it. Besides you two did have sex during the time she is ovulating, so the little amount of sperm in pre ejaculation is definitely enough. And 7 weeks does sound about right for the time period. Hi, I'm not a Dr. Brown, but if you last preiod was 11/09/2009, you roughtly got pregnancy around 11/23/2009. Looks like you may be in luck, it would be your boyfriends.

hi...i kno i dnt kno u but i really need help...i am 17years old ...but i have been with my boyfriend for4years ...since we startd havin sex i neva cheated but recently i have been havin sex with anotha guy bcuz we broke up i had sex with him on the 30and 31 of oct and the 3rd of nov and a couple days lata my bf and i had make up sex and he came in me..which was on the 9th  14th 15th 21st and the 22 of november.he came in me on the 22...i also got my period later on in the day on the 9th i got my period..but i missed my period for dec ...whos my child father...i would gladly appreciate the help...thanx.!

Hi Again!
When I use my calculating wheel, and put the LMP on October 27, I get a due date of
August 2.  I get a conception date of November 11.  I get an estimated gestational age of 5 weeks on December 1.
If I move the estimated gestational age to 5 weeks on December 17, That puts the conception date on November 25. (Wheels may differ by a day or two)
The parents' size does not play much of a role in the size of the fetus until the third trimester, so that is probably not the answer.
It IS possible to get someone pregnant without ejaculating.  It is also possible that the baby is behind in growth, or was simply conceived later than you thought.
It is also possible that she could have a miscarriage.
BEFORE you accuse your wife, be sure that there was nothing that happened between you that you just forgot!  Also, if you are that concerned, I would recommend to my own patient that he ASK HIS WIFE!

           Now I'm not a doctor, but I know you said you never ejaculated in her, so then you do the withdrawal method??? If this is correct, that is not a form of birth control and there is a possibility that ou pre-ejaculated in her which is very normal and does contain sperm, very small amounts of sperm, but it does in fact contain sperm. That could explain your problem. And 3 times of pre-ejaculation would be enough times to get her pregnant!!!! And as for the variance of how much along she is, it's common to have mistakes with that sometimes. My b/f thought I was 7 weeks along when I'm in fact 4 weeks and 4 days.Went to the dr. yesterday...And I'm sorry she is upset with you, but its normal!!!
