Labor Story ♡♡ (repeat cesarean)
So I had an ultrasound/appt today for baby girl & at just 38 + 5 weeks I found out my water had been leaking for the past few days so my Dr. decided it was time to do the c section today rather than Friday. (I had an emergency c section with my first & after talking about it my Dr & I decided a repeat would be safest for my baby & I) Anyway, my Dr sent me straight to the hospital around 11 a.m where I had to wait until 5:30 for my c section to begin 'cause I ate an apple before my appt. The 6 hours went by quickly while my mom, Aunt, daughter, good friend of mine boyfriend's sister & boyfriend kept my company. I was having mild contractions while I waited but nothing too bad. Once it was time my wonderful boyfriend had to put on scrubs; he looked sooo handsome :) Lol. While they put in the spinal block, I began getting kind of nervous. I even thought to myself "there is no way I'm having more kids" haha! But, after that I was soooo calm. I can't believe how calm I was to be honest. My honey was THE BEST support I ever could have asked for and my surgery went absolutely wonderful, there was no pain & I was able to stay awake the entire time. (Unlike my first where they put me to sleep 'cause I felt the pain) Hearing her first cry is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am sooooooooo in love already, she's just perfect. Now she's sleeping on my chest & just had a little sneeze. Hehe, just perfect.
No, my spinal didn't hurt. To me, the anesthesiologist fingers feeling my bones hurt worse than the spinal itself.

Aww congratssss. Im having a repeat c section 17 days. Im afraid of the spinal-did hurt?
I hope mine goes as smooth as yours did! I'm having a repeat c section as well and I too was put to sleep the first time so I'm a little nervous to be awake this time. Congratulations! I can't wait to meet my son. I'm scheduled for the 6th! My daughter is so excited to meet her little brother!❤
