My period is four days late and I'm never late

Hi, I'm four days late and I've been really tired and sick to my stomach for the past week or two. My last period was on Jan. 6 and it didn't show this month. I havent had any change in my appetite but my husband has been eating everything that's not nailed down. I have been have these weird feelings in my abdomen but no tender breast or spotting. I have had frequent headaches along with being extremely tired and feeling sick to my stomach. I wanted to know could I be pregnant and when do I need to take a hpt? Please help me if you can.

Like the others said, see a doctor for a beta blood draw. If that's negative (under 5) you're not pregnant. Sometimes you can just be late or skip a period every once in a while. It's completely normal and just happens. You might have ovulated late or just didn't ovulate at all. Good luck! I hope you get the answer you're looking for.

You could always make a doctors appointment if you are still having doubts and feel that you might be pregnant, because the best way to find out 100% is blood work, or you could always wait another week out and see what happens from there. Good Luck tho, hopefully you get the answers you are hoping to get :)

I tested but I got a neg. result....my cycle still hasn't showed up though so I don't know what to do now.

I'm 4 days late as well, exact same symptoms, but i'm getting period like cramps that come and go, testing tomorrow so we'll see! good luck!

U sound pregnant from what u have described. Remember though, symptoms aren't reliable. Since ur 4days late, u should be able to get  a clear positive on a hpt now:). Good luck!

sometimes it helps if you use a conception calculator and remembering the dates you had sex and compare it with your symptoms. i tried putting your last period in a calculator for you if you are on a 28 day cycle.
  Results:  4 weeks 6 days from LMP
First Day of Last Menstrual Period:  January 6, 2011
Probable Date of Ovulation:  January 20, 2011
Possible Dates of Conception:  January 16 to January 24, 2011
Due Date:  October 13, 2011 (40 weeks)
