Nausea/Vomiting

Any suggestions on nausea relief? I was prescribed Zofran but I prefer not to take it. Any home remedies you can recommend?

Morning sickness is part of being pregnant, I was throwing up all day long & night. I was soo nauseous soo much all the time. Even now in my 3rd trimister, i have threw up couple times. But I didn't take any medicine for it. I just dealt with it. I eat salty & add lemon flavor to food, help with nauseous sometimes. Idk, it just me but morning sickness & nausea is part of pregnancy, you just have to deal with it even though it's not fun.

Yeah the Zofran "study" is total ********. It's only if you're getting the 32mg IV dosage on a regular basis that any problems can occur. Those on 4-8mg pills or IV doses are perfectly fine. You can take up to 32mg per day, just not all at the same time. I'm part of a group of 3000 moms, all of who have been on Zofran, and not one of them has had issues from the Zofran. I'm on it myself, along with Diclegis. I've had 5 ultrasounds this pregnancy and my baby is perfectly healthy. Don't buy into those stupid lawyer commercials, they don't give you the full information.

Preg gie pops did not work as well as I expected chewing gum or mints helps just as much if not more and they cost less. Ginger does not help me it actually makes it worse :( . Pickle juice gives me relief (oddly) and salt and vinegar chips. I'm hoping the nasea and vomiting go with the 1st trimester  (10w 4d) but if it continues or worsens I plan on asking my doctor about vitamin b6.  I know I'm ready to feel better so I completely understand your pain,  And please share if you find some magic amazing home remedy!!!!

I swear by ginger ale. And ginger snap cookies. I had horrendous morning sickness for the first 13 weeks and they both helped. Good luck

Do not take Zofran. A study just came out that it can cause cleft lip and other birth defects...I took it for 3 months, luckily nothing is wrong but I wouldn't risk it
