hey congrats on your closeness!!! i love the nursery it's so cute!!! patience is a virtue that from what i understand rarely comes on during pregnancy so GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!
have fun and GOOD LUCK!!!
Thanks so much ladies! I went through the baby clothes today and wow....everything but a few outfits is classic pooh!! lol. I need to go shopping for some boy things here!
My husband keeps telling me I am nesting....and he thinks I will go into labor around 37-38 weeks. We'll see if he is right. =) Maybe I'll get my hubby to put the car seat in sometime next week, just so we are ready. I'll start packing my bag ASAP. I like to be prepared and wouldn't want to have to think about it when I go into labor. Oh my goodness....pads!! I didn't even think of that....DUH!! That may be something I need, huh?? lol. I haven't bought pads in wow.....over a year now. Only had 3 periods last year because of the 2 miscarriages and then getting pregnant with this one. Crazy!!
Kelly....I can't believe I was patient enough to put that stuff together...believe me!! lol. I bought the crib and changing table at Target! My mom had to search so many different stores to find the crib. They had one left at a store near my house and then the changing table...they had one left near her house (she is about an hour away). If the stores didn't have it, we would have to pay like $100 for shipping!! Not happening! So I am very thankful I found these! I think it was meant to be. =) It's also VERY sturdy and strong, something I really liked about it.
I am writing this at 3am!! yikes...I should get to bed. =)
ADORABLE! So cute....Where'd you get your furniture! Good job on assembly....I've never had the patience for that! haha!
That burst of energy comes before birth! I haven't looked at the pics yet, but I will in a minute. I wanted to tell you that you SHOULD have your bags packed and this is what you need:
change of clothes for baby
change of clothes for you (what you wore at 5-6 months preggo)---don't forget undies and socks
Toiletries (bring lipgloss, lotion and makeup!)
Camera
Purse (with ID, insurance, maybe some cash)
I think that is about it. Honestly you don't need much becuase the hospital will provide diapers, wipes, pads, food, etc. I always brought a ton and ended up only using my toiletries, camera and clothes!
The nursery is adorable! I love the border that you put up!
The nursery looks cute!
Depending on how long you will be in labor you may want something to keep your hubby from driving you crazy, maternity outfit for you to wear home, super absorb. pads, outfit for baby and maybe some blankets, hairbrush tooth brush and maybe some soap depending on well you feel after you may want to clean up a little.... You might want to practice with the carseat now I know some are little difficult to work. I would keep the base in the car somewhere or go ahead and put the whole thing in now... Thats about all I can think of ... Dont let the nesting instink (sp) wear you down... Labor can be very tiresome but worth it so try to keep your engery saved a little.... Good luck!
I dont know anything about getting ready for birth- my first baby too :)
But the nursery looks awesome! I cant believe you put that all together.. but I get like that sometimes too.
But you were probably experiencing "NESTING" which I've read about.. look it up, its pretty interesting
Everything looks really good- ur hubby will be impressed!
