OT but have you ever...?

I sneezed 11 times in a row Friday and ever since then, I've been sneezing constantly. I thought I was done with sneezing like this (I sneezed a lot in my first trimester due to the increased blood flow) and I'm sitting here writing a reply to one of GA's posts when I feel the strongest urge EVER to sneeze. I tried to lean over my chair but I almost fell over so naturally, I stuck my hand out to catch myself just in case. Well, I ended up sneezing on my hand. I looked down and seen BLOOD all over my hand and wrist from where I sneezed...I about panicked but then I tasted blood, too...I put my hand up to my mouth...and I'll be damned if I didn't bust my own lip sneezing so hard. DH laughed hysterically at the look on my face. I asked him if he'd ever done it and he goes "Nope, dear...just about everything you do is new to me." So, I was wondering, am I weird or have you ever done this too?

Sorry for such a strange question, I guess I'm just trying to prove to him that I'm not as weird as he thinks I am. Well at least, I hope not. LOL.

You're not weird... many women get sinus problems during pregnancy.  I didn't sneeze much in the first trimester but have been sneezing my head off here lately.  Sometimes I blow my nose and there's blood.  My docs have always told me that nose bleeds or just some blood in the mucus is normal and common during pregnancy...doesn't make it any nicer for us though.  I've sneezed so hard I've hit my head on things before. A lot of times when I sneeze I have to put pressure on a certain spot on my belly...usually one side of the other becuase the sneezes are so violent I guess it's pulling on the ligaments.

lol, hey atleast he could get a 2 tooth discount at the dentists office lol. Thats what our lovely DH's get for using the tickle bug on something their size lol. As far as what mom will say about it...lol you can always tell her what you did, but then you risk even your mother thinking your odd, atleast it will be a good laugh, and laughing is always good for you.

LOL I've done that too! I've also knocked out one of DH's teeth by popping him in the mouth by accident while we were sleeping. Not too long after that, he went to go tickle me and I knocked the one right beside it out! I felt horrible! Good thing he was gonna get 'em pulled anyway. Haha. Yeah, so my lip is busted and I'm wearing it proudly. Can't wait to try to explain to my mom how it happened when she comes to pick me up in the morning.

lol im so sorry your DH thinks your weird. But dont feel bad, your not alone lol. My DH thinks im weird as well. And as far as busting my lip while sneezing....nope never done it. Although I know when I sleep and my arm falls asleep I tend to smack my self ever so hard when I move the sleeping arm, busted my lip that way lol.

I hope your sneezing cuts you some slack, and put some ice on that lip lol.
