I am having a hard time telling when I ovulate and was wondering how my chances would be to try for a baby every day or second day?

I will try that Pre-seed thx. and yes my period is shoter and comes alot sooner, thats why I cant figure out when I am ovulating. After you ovulate you get your period so I dont know why I would ovulate right after my period because I have like another 2-3 weeks b4 I get my period again...thx

How often are your periods,its not unusual to notice egg white few days following period,if you have short cycles then you are probably ovulating.some women ovulate sooner than others dont worry about that best of luck..

If you dont have fertile cm around ovulation then it's hard for the sperm to swim...I think it's called pre-seed that helps lubricate so the spermies have something slick to glide their way!!!

the eggwhite thing is normal.  when you are ovulating it is literally like a clear to cloudy snot, i know thats a bad way to describe it but it is very precise.  it can be up to almost the size of a dime too.  look up ovulation and it will explain a little more about ways you can tell but the mucous thing is pretty accurate.  I tracked my ovulation dates through free calcultors and just had sex every other day.

Thanks, I have noticed that I am egg white like 2 days or 3 days after my period tho...shouldnt I be dry or am I ovulating too early???

oh by the way, we got pregnant twice using the every other day thing.  Our first was a miscarriage and we are now pregnant again 7-9 weeks soomwhere hoping and praying that this one is okay:)

i say the mucous looks like private area boogers.  A nasty wayt to describe it but that is exactly how it looks.  I know me and my fiance looked up my most fertile times and has sex every other day starting like 2 days before the time and 2 days after the time, since the online predictors aren't always accruate with every different womans body.

Some women check their temps (Basal Body Temping, or BBT), or they check cervical mucous (CM), or they use OPKs as Diane just said, except they're "kits" and not "kids" LOL!

Anyway, the method I used to get pregnant with my last baby was the CM testing. You can find all sorts of websites on how to check CM for fertility. I'll just give you the quick version:

When you use the restroom, CHECK THE TISSUE every time. After a period, you should be dry (no CM present) which means you are not fertile at that time. As your body prepares for ovulation, you'll notice some CM (yellowish/cloudy/milky/white, gummy/tacky/sticky, etc.). You're considered "fertile" at this time. Sperm can live up to 3 days in the vagina, so you really only need to BD (baby dance=sex) every other day, that way your husband has time to create more sperm.

Anyway, when you see CM, begin BDing every other day. When the CM becomes CLEAR like raw egg whites (EWCM) and stretches to an inch or more, you're ovulating. It may last more than one day.

Anyway, google "cervical mucous fertility" for a more in-depth account on it, maybe some pics or more detailed instructions. It really is easy. See CM, have sex!!! Worked for me with one shot! It can take up to 6 months to conceive using this method, so don't fret if it doesn't happen on the first try!!!

I have a friend that had sex every other day -she's got two kids and had three miscarriages to that method worked well for her to conceive!!  I did it in Nov and had no luck.  I used ovulation prediction kids and they worked well...  Good luck.
