Pain in belly button.

Hello everyone. I wanted to get a few opinions on this pain I've been having. I was at the hospital earlier and mentioned it, but the nurses didn't seem concerned so I brushed it off. I'm getting really bad pain where my belly button is, and along my lower pelvis and back. The pain in my stomach is to where I can't walk straight, bend over and move well. I just lay on the bed curled up because it helps the most. It almost feels like it's being tugged on from the inside out. (if that makes any sense) and it's tender all over my stomach. I can't put any pressure on it. Im not sure if I should call a doctor (since I asked about it once already) or if it's really anything to worry about.

i had pain around my belly button pretty bad and i didn't think anything of it but it ended up being a hernia...i didn't discorver that until my daughter was 6 weeks old. i'd mention it!! especially if your on medicaid ( i can't stress this enough ) because since i didn't mention mine and theres no documentation i suffered from it during pregnancy there is no way to prove it is pregnancy related therefore i can't get the necessary repair surgery covered by insurance. bring it up to your ob again!!

That's almost what it seemed like she wanted to do. It hurt from the top of my uterus down to the bottom. I think she was lying right where it was and that's why it hurt so much. My stomach and belly button is slightly bruised. (Which is so weird) Joys of pregnancy. :)

i get a lot of pain in my belly button area whenever the baby is around it....i swear sometimes she is trying to push it out from the inside...its very painful...i have asked my doctors about this on a few occasions and they all have said it has to deal with the position of the baby....

when i get the pain i try to sit down, put my feet up and eat popcycles until she moves off the area...sometimes it takes falling asleep to get her to move though

I get it sometimes too. Its usually when she decides to kick around in there. I had a sprained rib literally like a week before I got pregnant so its still a little sensitive and it seems like that is where she likes to hang. That and beating the cr*mp out of my belly button. Its very strange my first never did this.

Hm. I'm just about 30 weeks as well. Lol. Maybe it's just a bad week. I'll definitly call if it gets worse. I just hate to go back up to the hospital again. Haha.

It could be a number of different things. I had the same problem with my first boy and turns out he had kicked me so hard (around 30 weeks) that he had torn a ligament in my side! I would definitely call if it gets worse though!
