Paternity

So... There is NO doult in my mind that my bf is my child's father... But he sometimes makes comments to make me second guess... here is the story:
My bf and I were broken up. I went out of town and saw an ex- we had sex on Jan 13th, used a condom.  I had a NORMAL/REGULAR period Jan 16th.  Came back home, got back with my bf and had unprotected sex multiple times...  Had positive pregnancy test Feb. 9th.  According to my doctor I am due Oct 23rd by last period dates and Oct 21st by ultrasound.... and that conception date was Jan 28th.
PLEASE tell me I am not wrong in believing that the baby is my bf's and NOT my exs.... The dates and math don't add up, so I am confident that it isn't my exs.
What do you guys think???

Oh my.. I wasn't even thinking of the due date..That's so soon!  Of course, he's nervous.  I'm nervous and I still have 3 1/2 months to go. I wish you a very positive birth experience♥  I'm sorry for your flustering feelings. I wouldn't like that either. Keep in mind it is his insecurities or whatever causing it.. try to keep it separate from you as much as possible.

I almost didn't marry my husband because of his attitude against getting tested for STDs. He felt it was so stigmatizing.. a different mind set from my level of awareness.  I let it go for awhile understanding that he viewed it so differently from me. In the end he did.. and the ironic thing is that all the infertility clinics had us do tons of tests and each year new ones.  Now, I can confidently opt out of the antibacterial eye drops for our baby at birth knowing for certain that neither of us have chlamydia (it's often asymptomatic in men).  I'm not sure how this relates to your story other than the thread of stubbornness of men. Well, I get stubborn too.  But, I think men sometimes feel that something about their masculinity is threatened when there's either perceived competition or accusation.

May everything go beautifully for you and your baby in all of its perfection♥ And with you BF too ☼

HI!
Your dates are consistent with a conception date of January 28 or 29.  Any time the dates are this close however, I always suggest a paternity test.  If you ask you ob doctor or midwife, they should be able to tell you how you can have this done.  They are pricey--around $1000, but it might put a lot of issues to rest and calm your boyfriend down.

Good luck and congratulations in advance!

He has gone to alot of them... I just think the whole reality of the baby coming in like 3 weeks scares him!  So he is questioning everything!  I mean I don't mind AT ALL to do a paternity test, I mean It is my boyfriends EVERY RIGHT to be 100% it's his son... Just him questioning it every now and then, puts questions into my mind, you know?....
Im positive that my boyfriend is the father, just kind of flustering every now and then!
Thank you SO much for your response!  :o)

I'm not a doctor...visiting here a lot waiting for my question to be answered.  I think you are correct.. The baby is your boyfriend's. For argument's sake if it were your Ex's,  you would need to have had either very late ovulation or very early during menstruation--which really does not happen--or his sperm would have had to stay alive for 15 days...72 hours is the max life of sperm.  And your doctors would also need to be wrong. There are too many biological and medical facts supporting the January 28th conception. I hope your boyfriend fully comes aboard soon. Maybe there are still some unresolved issues about the break up? Or some insecurity he may feel?  Would him coming to your next doctor's appointment help?
