Pelvic pain

I'm having severe pelvic bone pains and I looked it up online, something called pelvic arthropathy came up and I read the symptoms and come to realize that's what I think i'm experiencing. I'm having limited movement today and i'm supposed to work at 530pm, and i'm unsure of what to do about it. It's a Saturday and my doctor isn't in the office, and I really want to avoid the Emergency Room at all costs, takes too long. Is it alright to go into work or could this be a bad idea? I don't want to think everything is ok and then have something become worse or become wrong.

Hi!
I'm going to assume that you are pregnant, since this condition is usually associated with pregnancy.
As far as work goes, you might want to ask your MD to write you a note with some restrictions.  I often write for no lifting over 20lb, no prolonged standing, and frequent breaks to put the feet up.
There are also some really nice maternity supports that can help you through the next few weeks.
Pelvic arthropathy is fairly natural and normal--some have more than others--and it goes away when baby is born in the majority of cases.
I wish you the best!
