Pregnancy Test and Urine Sample

Dear All,

I had mutual masturbation session with a guy friend(no penetration, just fingering but afraid of semen,pre-semen on his fingers) on 25th July 2010 and since then I have been having my periods regularly but I stumbled upon articles where women who can have their period and still be pregnant. I got paranoid and took a home pregnancy test at the end of November and once more on 18 Dec 2010. My last period was on 9th December. All negative. But my question is, I didn't use the morning urine and I used Predictor which said it didn't require early morning urine sample just as long excessive fluid intake is avoided.

What exactly is excessive fluid intake? e.g. how many glasses, gallons or litres?

If I held my urine in for like 5 hours after I last urine; is it still accurate?

I hope I'm not too paranoid..Thank You All. :)

Warmest Regards,
Anna

Thanks for the info but I had read that the air can kill the sperm, but its still likely that she would get pregnant from sperm off his finger, even if there was any!

Heck its women that have a hard term to live in the vagina, let alone it living on a finger lol

Actually sperm can survive in the air for up to 20 minutes or more and do not die as soon as they come out. Generally it's after they dry out that they die.

I think you are just paranoid or even may want to be pregnant?? The chances of you being pregnant are zero. The reasons being because you didn't have intercourse and once sperm has contact with air it dies automatically.  The next reason is the fact that you have been having regular periods since then you are more than likely not pregnant. Also this happened back in July so if you were pregnant you would have had an abundance of pregnancy symptoms by now and definitely a baby bump. I hope this information helps. \

Question? I would like to know do you want to be pregnant. I am no way trying to be rude but from reading your post I get the feeling you may want to be. I don't know many woman that search the internet about pregnancy unless they are trying to especially when the have negative test. Just curious.

You're not pregnant. Periods are NOT possible while pregnant, and what women experience is vaginal bleeding which is very different. To become pregnant in this manner is extremely difficult as well as extremely rare. He would had to have ejaculated on his hand and shoved it inside you for it to happen.

Thank You but thing is I've put on like some weight say 8kg in the past 6 months (my usual jeans don't fit maybe thats why I'm paranoid..I'm not sure) but I do admit I have been indulging (breakup with my bf of a year, university exams stress) . I'm trying to lose weight and I want to be sure that pregnancy is ruled out. I have lost weight 3kg in the past month. On day of testing I had tea and one glass of water then I peed, and after that held it for 5 hours. Is it still accurate? Because I do wake up at night and pee so I can't really hold my urine throughout the night.

You are being parannoid! Stop stressing! If you have had periods since it happened chances are you are not pregnant.  If you held it or 5 hours then yes, this would be accurate. Plus if this happened in July 2010 then you would now be 4/5 months pregnant and you would know by now!

Try not to worry too much.
