Pregnancy after IUD removal
Okay Hi guys =)
Im new to this and i just want to tell you about my little experience here and would like some feed back if possible... please please please!! lol
Okay so this is my first time TTC and i am 23 years old. I had my IUD put on in Aug of 2007 but just removed it the 29th of Sept. I had what i thought was a normal period on the 3rd of October but was unsuccessful at concieving that month. I thoughti had symptoms but then realized it was probably all in my head. Took pregnancy tests and they were all negative =( I felt like it took forever for my next period to come but finally came on the 18th of November. Now you guys must know that i have irregular periods. I tried to keep up with my periods before my IUD was inserted and were always at different times so i gave up lol but i must let you know that i never had a period those two years i had the IUD in. But according to the ovulation calendar i was suppose to be ovulating thi sweek. which is TRUE. im sorry if TMI but i did have the eggwhite ovulating deal and well of course we been trying, but i guess i just want to some type of advice or if anyone has been in a similar situation please ease my mind here. I would love nothing more than to be able to announce my pregnancy for xmas. If theres anything anyone can tell me or help me.. It would be GREATLY appreciated....... Please and Thank you

Okay so yesterday morning i woke up with VERY VERY SORE BOOBS AND NIPPLES! and not to mention but very gassy as well.
According to the ovulation calendar i am suppose to test this saturday.... can you feel symptoms so early??... or do u think its all in my head??... ahhhhh idk what to think, my body feels a bit wierd too!
Also i threw up a little in my mouth yesterday morning! lol gross i know

Thank you so much! I know the feeling that the IUD completely messed everything up. But just think positive, and everything will work out.... Yes I am very happy, I was really beginning to think I could not get pregnant because of the stinkin' mirena

I just heard the mirena was better than the copper one and thats really why i had gotten that one. But im goin to leave this in Gods hands and let him decide when. If i get pregnant any time soon; i will let you guys know. Thank you for the advice though! Its very much appreciated.

So you took it out in July??... okay then im two months behind you lol so i hope here soon i get preggers! =)

hey I just wanted to give you some hope!! I had the mirena in for almost two years. I had it removed in July of this year, and I just found out last week I am pregnant, and the dr even confirmed today. it did mess with my cycles though, I went from a 28 day to 37 day cycle and ovulation who knows.... I know all women are different and it can take months to years! I just thought maybe I could give you some positive feedback to put you on the right track
I know it was a long time, but my doc told me that it was because of the mirena. I was a real fertile myrtle before the mirena, which was why I got it :)

i believe on average, especially for Mirena - which is the one i used, the average time it takes to concieve after removal is a year. I had unprotected sex for about 14 months before I got pregnant this time. just google it ... I believe you can get much more info from trusted medical sites.
