Pregnancy help!!!
I have a due date of Jan 4th, the whole cenception conceiving 2 weeks gap all that CONFUSES me! can anyone just say straight out if it could be from the day i had SEX April20-24? or do u think its from rlier then that?

You can ask your doctor for a possible date of conception. But, they will figure it out by using the date of your last period. In other words... a doctor cannot know for sure when you conceived a baby, they can only guess by using tangible signs like the onset of a menstrual period. If your due date is Jan.4th, then they would have based that on a period that started approximately March 28th. The most typical date of conception for a period starting on March 28th would be April 11th - but that is only a "typical" conception date based on a 28 day cycle. If you have a 35 day cycle, the conception date would be more likely to have been April 18th. BUT, you can ovulate late or conceive at just about any time during your cycle. As I said, ask your doctor for a date of conception, but remember, they're only giving you the best educated guess they can. (I was once told I conceived on Christmas Eve when I hadn't had sex at all during December and the conception date was really Jan. 1st)
I don't think a pregnancy test would show postitive after 7 days, it's too early. The earliest I ever got a positive reading on a sensitive test was 11 days past ovulation... and this showed a very faint line that I could hardly see. It really sounds unlikely that the other guy is the father, I think you're safe! Good luck!
thanks for the useful advice, i am abit worried as i was with another guy only one night on the 24th april, then a week later exactly 7 days after the 24th i take a home pregnancy test and it shows positive. so im realy praying it isnt from this one night mistake. but it looks positive that it really isnt and that its more likely from the beginning of april end of march, bcos my preiod ended around the 26thish of march. plus the doctor said its unlikely the test would show positive 7 days later. but the time i had sex on the 24th, my period would have been either really due or i would of had them so thats another positive i already suspected i was pregnant that same week, hopefully im stressing for no reason
see that doesnt make sense to me :/ i just want to know if it could be the april 20-24 dates or earlier?
