Pregnancy right after D&C

I am 39. After having 2 children without any problems quite a few years ago I had a miscarriage followed by a D&C exactly 5 weeks ago. One week ago I experienced some spotting, but no period. I now started experiencing some pregnancy symptoms (very tired, hungry) and wonder if I can already be pregnant again?

Hello,

There is no way to know whether you are pregnant outside of taking a pregnancy test.  

Additionally, you may still have hCG in your body from the miscarriage that has yet to resolve.  So this is a hard thing to determine.  Check a home pregnancy test and if Positive, see your ob/gyn.  If negative repeat it in a week.  If still negative you probably aren't pregnant.

Hello, If you are not useing any protection you could be pregnant again! I also had a m/c and a d&c, friday it will be 5weeks. If you think you are I would test! Good Luck :o)
