Pregnancy

My period started on June 5th and on the 17th me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex. he nutted in me about 2 or three times. I checked an ovulation calender and it said i was fertile for that day. It also said to take an early pregnancy test on the 27th-28th and I did but it said negative. is there a possibilty I could be pregnant? what do I do? What signs should I look for?

It's still pretty early. Today's the 26th so if you're right about ovulating on the 17th, you'd only be 9 days past ovulation now. I would redo the test in a few days. Symptoms can take a while to show up, but I get really hungry and crave certain foods and have aversions to other foods, breasts get very sore, get very fatigued, lightheaded sometimes, nausea. That's just a few of the main ones. Not sure if you're trying to get pregnant or avoid pregnancy, but I hope it works out how you want. Good luck!

You definitely tested too early. IF YOUR PERIOD STARTED ON JUNE 5th, YOU WOULDN'T GET A POSITIVE TEST UNTIL JULY 2nd or 3rd.  Also, slip a finger into your vagina and see if your mucus (discharge) is wet and slippery or if it is sticky and/or mostly dry. When you are fertile your mucus will be wet and slippery for a couple of days. Afterwards it should dry up or get thick and sticky. Also, for me when I got pregnant my mucus/discharge didn't dry up like it usually did. It stayed wet and slippery until my next period was due so I knew something was up and I took a test. I also was tracking my body for months before I got pregnant for signs of fertility (mucus, position of cervix, morning temperature, etc.) so I was very aware of my body and that's how I knew I was pregnant before even taking a test.

For most women they don't really notice a difference or symptoms until after they have received a positive pregnancy test.

Also, do you know how long your cycles usually are? 28 days, 30, 32 days? It makes a difference on whether or not you could be pregnant because it affects the day you ovulate (are fertile).

I am a little confused it isn't even the 27th yet so how did you test? The earliest I could test from starting my period on the 4th of June is July the 2nd and that would be 4 days early. Are you talking about May or June?

It just really depends on how long your cycles are. My period started on the 4th and I ovulated on the 22nd, but I was fertile from the 18th- 23rd. So there is a possibilty that you were fertile. Sperm can survive 5 to7 days in the right conditions. If your cervical mucus is clear and slippery like an egg white. I hope this is helpful.
