Pregnant again after Miscarriage

i miscarried a baby at 14 wks come to find out it was a boy on 2/1/2010 my water broke and i delivered him right outside the hospital if was traumatic i am now pregnant again im 7 wks along im nervous and a little scared...but unlike last time i had just a mothers instinct that i was not going to carry my last baby to term i told my mom and boyfriend they just told me not to think that but in the end it happened i had on and off spotting at about 6 wks up until i miscarried...and this time i have no feelings like that no spotting or bleeding and i think my levels are up because of the way i feel i haven't been to the doctor yet but i have an appointment next wk...this is going to be my 3rd pregnancy i have a 4 year old boy i had no problems with him..i just hope everything will be ok with this one

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I'm happy to hear that your mother's instinct is good about this pregnancy.  I'm a firm believer in women's intuition!  My own doctor is too.

If you were my patient, I would test you right away for any type of infection that could have caused the miscarriage--including Group B strep.

I would also start doing ultrasounds to look at your cervix, and make sure it is long and closed.  I would consider putting on a cerclage (a stitch that helps to keep the cervix closed--like a draw string on a bag) if your cervix looked weak on ultrasound.

I think the fact that you have not had any bleeding this time is very positive.

If you delivered your first baby at full term, your chances are really good with this one.

awwwww congratulations to u try not to think  about what happened before i know its hard not to as i have had 2miscarraiges and am still trying for another we all have to be strong and think positive i wish u all the best xxx

Well i went to my doctor and everything looks good...i feel like were in better hands they were very thorough...im due May 7, 2011

Hello =)  I am currently 6 weeks 2 days pregnant.  I miscarried in July at 5 weeks 6 days.  I'm a nervous wreck as well!  It was my first (and I pray my LAST) miscarriage, and I have 2 healthy kids.  Everytime I go to the bathroom I check for blood, and every little ache or pain I have has me freaking out.

Hi, I am 27 and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year. I am 13 days late but after many negative pregnancy tests and a negative blood test I feel sooo confused and upset. I was actually getting hopeful. I did have a miscarrigae in july but had a normal period after that. my doc said it would be fine to keep trying. don't get why I am late I am very regular, 28 days like clockwork. The only time I have ever been late was when I got prgnant the last time. Just so frustrated and disappointed : (
