Pregnant or not?????

Back in November of 2006 I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive. I then called my doctor for an apt. I miscarry really easily so my dr put me on pogestrone. I started bleeding a day later, she then had me come in and do a blood test and it came up negative. All this time I started feeling kind of bloated that month and that is what made me take the test. SO when she said negative I thought okay and went on and went back on birth control. Well, I remained bloated and still have a period, but they were light. I finally desided that I needed to diet, because I am fixing to get married. My tummy was getting bigger, before going out and getting on some kind of diet plan I took another preg test (the second week of Feb) it showed positive. Aweek later I took another and it was neg and then a week later I went and took another and neg. My belly is getting bigger and even my 7 year old has noticed. (I usuallly do not have a belly) So I again have call the doctor. My Hips are killing me, my belly is bigger and I keep feeling this pressure from the inside on my hip. the pressure comes and goes. What do you think. Can I be pregnant and it not show up, could I have been pregnant this whole time, and should I be more persistant on getting an ultra sould or something, because if I am not pregnant something is wrong? I am not sure what to think, I am 1 1/2 weeks late on my period now, with a tummy, achey hips, larger breast(yeah), and a hard time sleeping, and pressure that comes on goes on the inside of my hip all with negative test????????

I barely wiped any pink on the 1st day.  The 2nd day, there was more faint pink when wiping.  I bled dark red kinda med.to heavy flow for one day (the 3rd day).  The 4th day, I had tiny bit of blood in morning & that was it.  The 5th day, nothing.  this is hardly the norm for me.  I regularly spot the first day red.  Then, the next 2-5 days are heavy to med. flow.  then, i normally spot enough to wear a pantyliner for another 2-3 days.  I took another test on the 5th day and it was negative.  Is it too early to test?  or is this just some wacky period.  I actually only bled 1 1/2 days.  I keep hoping & praying that I'm pregnant even though the possibility of pregnancy is probably 1 in 1 million.

yes you could be had similar symptoms even had my period really light tho and i took a test a week later becoz my breast were still sore and it was a POSITIVE so dont give up test your self eventho baby dust

I'm almost 34 yrs. old.  My husband had a vasectomy 7 yrs ago after my third child was born.  Since then I have  found out I had endometriosis.  I have been taking birth control pills to control the symptoms of endometriosis, but forgot to get the pack filed last month.  I had my last period on the pills April 18-22.  I ovulated on May 5.  I normally spot red streaks first day, then HEAVY for 3-4 days.  So far, I've been 2 days late & have been wiping light pink every time I go to the bathroom, which has been often.  I have been having lots of cramping, feeling very nauseas, heartburn, headaches, swollen breasts (very full).  I feel pregnant, but I've taken 2 preg tests & both say neg.  Plus with all the cramping, I feel like it must be my period.  But, i've never spotted pink before & for 2 days??  weird.  Please let me know what you think.  I wouldn't mind if I'm pregnant, but the odds are stacked against me.

I'm new to this site but I do have a question regarding a negative pregnancy test.  I am 3 days late and have some cramps now and then like I'm going to start my period but they go away and I have no spotting.  I do have a history of a miscarriage.  I took a test yesterday and it was negative???  and my periods are always 31 days exact!  Also, my hips are hurting?? I hear it is to early for hips to hurt and Is the test right???  When should I take another test?

ok thanks! got my next appointmetn tomorrow but....my period came. on the dot 2 weeks late. it was lighter, and different in colour though. adn whats unusaler is i had a browny knd of discharge like 3 days longer thna my period usually lasts. could this mean something other than pregnancy or is tht still a possibilty?

If you go to the hospital you can get the results back the same day. Usually you have to have a doctors order, but some hospitals will do it for you anyway you just have to pay on the spot. if you go to the Doctor' soffice it might be a few days before you get the results back. So if you want to find out as soon as possible got to the hospital.

ok, thanks. that is what i thought. would i have to get a blood test from my local GP? or can i go into a hospital and have it done? and how long do u have 2 wait for teh results form a blood test?

hey. my last period was the 4th of april, the past couple of weeks i have had cramping, nausea, headaches, fatigue. no period, no discharge. nada. i've taken one home test tht was negative. went to teh doctor who told me my result was "inconclusive" and to come back in two weeks. what does this mean? does it mean i had a slight trace of HCG or what? i have exams coming up, and am strating to feel a little stressed out by the whole situation now, as i'm tired, cranky and sore. can anyone give me any advice that will help? should i ask for a blood test?

yes, you could be, you should go back for another test 2 weeks after.  althoguh my home preg test was neg. im going back for another appointment in 2 weeks time, doctors orders

I would have a blood test done. They can test the lowest # in your system.

Last week I took 3 clear blue easy tests and they came back positive.  Then by Friday I got my period and  had a urine test done at the doctors office.  This one came back negative.  This is very confusing.  Could I still be pregnant?

Hi all, I just have a quick question that maybe someone can help me answer it. Back in December I did not get my period, Janurary nothing, Feburary nothing. In March I went to see the doctor and they told me I wasnt pregnant (Doctor visit was the begining of March). Towards the middle of March I had finally got my period. But in April no period. Am I pregnant or not? Or is there somethng else that is wrong?

Now I do remember that when I was pregnant with my first daughter, the at home pregnancy was negative. But I tested positive at the Hospital.

Now my mom when she was pregnant with me, the pregnany test never came back positive not even at the doctors office, throughout her entire pregnancy, every single test would come back negative.

So what should I do, or ask the doctor?

It looks like I am in the same boat as a bunch of you are. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months or so. I have not been on birth control for the past 4 years (since I had my daughter) I have not had a period since March 11, 07 which is a bit unusual for me. I took a pregnancy test today thinking that it would for sure be positive. I have tender breasts and signigicant weight gain. I have also been extremly tired lately which is something that I normally dont experience. The test came back saying not pregnany within a min and a half. I have taken several in the past weeks and all say negative. I am worried becuase I am a smoker, however, I dont necessarily want to go to the doctor just yet becuase I am waiting on my insurance to kick over so that way they cant try and pull a prexisting condtion clause on me or anything. I dont know what to do. I have heard on women who want so badly to have a baby that their bodies actually go through the symptoms, but I dont know I dont think I want a baby that badly??? I dont know what to do....I took a Clear Blue Easy test which is supposed to read 99 percent accurate on the day of your missed period....:0(

I am new to this so bear with me. Last Sept I had a D & C at almost 19 weeks of pregnancy, my first period started within 4 weeks of the D & C. They have been like a clock hitting every 26 days and moderate-heavy flow in the first few days then slowing down and stopping. We have been trying to conceive again since Oct of last year. I noticed that last month I didn't get my period until day 30, and it was VERY light for like a day and a half and then it was gone. This month was the same with the exception of when it arrived. I started on day 29, but the same as last month very light and lasting only 2 days. I have noticed that my clothes are getting ALOT tighter, I am even wearing maternity clothes and they are tight. Help...Could it be possible that I am in fact preggo again without it showing up on tests and me having somewhat of a period? Please let me know if anyone has experienced any of this...

My last cycle was March 30,2007 and we have had intercourse a few days afterwards and then again and again and again within the next following weeks. my cycle is to come again tomorrow but I've had all pregnancy symptoms except vomiting. I continuously go so sleep at work and I can't help it. My breasts are so sore I can't stand it at times. I've taken a few test but they came back negative. I have to make myself get up in the morning for work because I be so tired when I get 6-7.5 hours of sleep. I've been having backaches and cramps and funny feelings in my stomach which has grown in the past 3 weeks and I can't explain why!  Please someone give me some advice and help me I really need to know how long before I test again if my cycle doesn't come tomorrow. I had my last period on March22/07 and I actually had sex that day and I was on the sugar pill but my boyfriend and I had sex and he wasn't wearing a condom but he pulled out but I really think he wasn't fast enough cause I missed this period which was due April 18/07 and I had light brown spotting and a little bit of blood that only lasted like an hour and now I am feeling very bloated,I am tired all the time and I feel nauseas in the early morning and at night and I get hot flashes could I be pregnant?

The depo shot is a very good birth control and depending on how long you were on it it  can complicate your ability to get pregnant. I was on the depo for 3 years and have been trying to get pregnant for about a year now. Most doctors say that with the depo it takes about a year for it to get out of your system.The depo works by tricking your body into thinking your pregnant so when you stop taking it the shot needs to fully leave your system so you can. I had many of your same symptoms several times and each was more disapointing then the last. The fact that your body is giving you all these symptoms is a good dign, it means that your body is expelling the depo. Your body still thinks that it is in some stage of pregnancy which is why you are having the reactions that you are. But don't loose hope because it will happen for you!

On March 7 i found out i was pregnant...on March 24 i started bleeding...went in for a u/s and a blood hcg test...uterus was thick but no sack...i miscarried...levels still havent gone down all the way...on April 3 i went in and my levels were at 36 and then went on april 10th and they were only at 18. SO i went again on april 13th and theyve rose to 19. Only one point. I am going in the morning to have an ultra sound to check for eptopic. Im not having any pains..im nauseas tired and my boobs are aching like b4 but no abdominal pain, has anyone experienced this before? I took a pregnance test2 days after the results were 36 and it was negative, i took it another one again after the 18 and the 19 and it was positive. Is it possible that i am pregnant again? But if i am is it okay for them to be rising so slowly?

Hi I have been off the Pill for about a month and a half we were trying to have a baby I was due for my period last week have done a couple of pregnancy test they have been negative I am bloated but do not have tender breast is there a possibilty I am pregnant.  If I do not get my period how long do I wait utnil I go to the doctor for a check up.

Ok i am very confused. I had a normal period on 2/20/07 and today is 4/07/07 and i havent had one since. i have taken 5 pregnancy tests and all came up negitive. I went to my doctors and they did a pregnancy test (urin) and that came up negitive. The only time i have been this late is when i was pregnant with my son a 15 months ago. I am showing all the signs of pregnancy. a very late period, very sore and tender breasts, nasuea, headaches, moody, and slight cramp/pulling feeling that i had the night i found out i was pregnant with my son. Could i be pregnant and it just not show up in my urin? i know that its suppossed to but i have read that a few women will have negitive urin pregnancy test after negitive urin pregnancy test, and a few months later they end up going to the doctor and they find out that they are already 5+ months along, just cause their urin showed up negitive. my doctor said if i dont get one by the time my next one is due which is in 2 weeks then i need to call back and get in, but i dont think i can wait that long. please what do you think? i am very confused. do you think i could be one of those rare people? and if so how can i get my doctor to look at it from my point of view?

Well this weekend I got something like my period but it wasn't anything like I've had in the past. It usually lasts 4 days and this time it was like 1 full day with a half day of spotting.!? I still have some of the symptoms of being pregnant. I still have the heartburn, the frequent headachs more then usual, left side abdominal pain (not hurting pain just dull noticable) fatigue, some nausea but it's settled down a bit, but now if I smell something that used to smell good now it makes me feel sick and almost vomit. If anyone can help me please respond I'm just so curious about whats going on! Thanks

     Hey Ya'll! I'm new to the site and I have a quesiton. I have read all the postings here so far and nothing really has answered my question.
     I had been on depo for almost 3 years and I stopped in Oct and haven't been back on it since. My period came back right on time and nothing changed I was back to normal the next month. Anyway I have told my husband that I'm ready to have children but he's not (afraid to growup)!
      My last period was Feb 23/07 and I have been waiting all month for this months but nothings come I should had one on the 3/23 and it's the 29th and still nothing and no signs that it's going ot show up. I have been on a different site and used one of their calanders that perdicts your ovulation dates by what you entered for when your last period started. It told me that on Feb 8 - 11 I would have been fertille and we had sex on the 8 and it was unprotected and he finished in me. Then about 2.5 weeks ago I started to feel nauseated, bloated, sore breasts (which are now coming and going on days), I have headachs more frequently and more intence then usual, I have a lot of fatigue, and I have never had heartburn in my life and now all of a sudden I have it and WOW .... when I'm not nauseated I have heartburn *they take turns*. I have taken a hpt on 3/21 and it said neg. I went to the dr on 3/26 and had one done there and it was neg. But my period is still late and I still have all the signs that I could be pregnant, and my body is telling me something is different and I just "feel" pregnant. I can feel that my pulse and breathing have increased, and I have noticed that at night I wake up more often and eaiser but I don't know why.
       What should I do? I want to start our family but all the tests are against me and say neg.
        Anyone with something of the same can you tell me what I should do. And just to let you know I think dr are a waist of time and usless.! But I'm willing to see one if my period doesn't show up this weekend.
