Pregnant with period, the great debate.

{TMI ALERT!} So my husband and I have not been using birth control and we are only able to see each other a couple times a month. The times we have been able to see each other are usually around O day which ups the probability of getting pregnant. Since around the first of this month I have been having symptoms. The first was my period was a couple of days late. Usually when I start it comes with a bang: horrible cramping and lots of blood. This time I had the cramping, backache and got home after a drive and discovered not a drop of blood on the tampon. The thing is it did end up starting but it was much lighter than normally and laster around 3 days verses the usual 5. Now what I'm feeling is fatigued, back pain, light headed last week, digestive problems the last couple of weeks, headaches every night, feeling warm, and now nausea starting a couple days ago. Now all of these could be explained away but the one that I can't wrap my head around is the light cramping on the 17th. I had light cramping and light spotting. It was light red and in CM but definitely there. I've NEVER had spotting in the middle of the month, sometimes sharp pains from ovulation but never cramps. All of this in addition to very faint positive FRER tests are leading me to believe I am pregnant. I'm waiting until next monday to test at home again. I ordered tests online because I just can't do the $20 boxes again. I've talked to nurses at the WHC and they said it can go either way. What is your take on this?

Hi!
There are not very many things that cause a false positive pregnancy test--so you probably were or are pregnant.  I ALWAYS recommend a repeat test in this circustance.  If it was a chemical pregnancy as kayharris suggests, that is good news--that means that you CAN do it! If it is a true pregnancy, the line will turn darker and there you go.
Best wishes!
