Do you still bleed/discharge from your vagina after a c section? Kinda just randomly thought about it. Because unless they scoop everything out of your uterus you would still have the blood/lining and everything to dispell from your body. So would you still bleed like you would from a vaginal birth? I feel stupid for asking and ill probably ask my dr on monday but im really curious

Yes for around 4 week not to heavy

Lol well ig to me it would make sense if you bleed but it would also make sense if you didnt. So i wasnt sure and for the most part this is a very supportive community but there are some women who can be very rude, so by saying it may be stupid myself in a way i am disarming the less supportive users

I dont know the answer tthe question since im a ftm. But y du write its a stupid question?  Its prob the first time ull have a csection so how wld u know if u dnt ask? No one knows everything.....  Keep strong and have faith in urself!

yes, most definitely. I bleed for 2 weeks straight after. Stopped for a week, then bled again for 3-4wks.
They don't count it as your first period until you go 2+ weeks with no bleeding or spotting.

Oh yeah, I bled for about 5 weeks after my first. You have to use pads can not use tampons for it.
