Rh negative

Anyone else on here that is Rh negative?  Have you or are you getting the shot?  Are you worried about having a second child if your significant other it's Rh positive?

I'm so thankful that it doesn't effect your first born, but I don't know if I could deal with the stress of what could happen to my child if I got pregnant again.  Just reading about it online how you're child could have brain damage or be a still born terrifies me.

I had to get it with my first born and we both got it when he was born! I'm pregnant with my second now and not scared at all! My husband has positive blood so it could be dangerous but it's only dangerous if my blood and the babies comes into contact which is unlikely in a successful pregnancy and I will get the shot again this time! I've had a completely healthy pregnancy and I only have 4 more months to go! My blood will attack the babies blood cells only if they come into contact before the shot.

I'm A- so I had to get the shot at 28weeks. If my baby has a positive blood type then I have to get the shot again after I give birth...  I'm not worried about it though..  As long as you get the shot every time you get pregnant then you and your baby will be fine! :))

You need to calm down. You should stop reading whatever it is you're reading. There is a lot of things on the internet that aren't exactly the best bit of info.. I am rh negative and on my second baby. He is absolutely beyond healthy. My mom is also rh negative and delived myself and two brothers with no complications. They will give you a RhoGAM shot while pregnant. (I got mine at 24 weeks) depending on what blood type your baby is born with they will either give you another shot after delivery or you may not need one. No need to stress

Im on my second with rh neg and shes fine...got the shot and will get.it once shes here

Im not scared. This is my first and my bf is pos blood type. I talked it over with my doctor, who gladly showed me proof of its impact and how it works. I have full faith in it :) id talk to your doctor if youre concerned, never hurtsnto be reassured :)

You dont have to be scared! just take the shot when u r 28 weeks and after your baby is born. 100% safe.
