Should I take a test?

by WildWilldow2, Sep 27, 2009 01:06PM
Okay, so here is my dilemma. I can vaguely remember my last period was around July 30th. I know I have had sex on August 10, and 11th. and September around the 10th and 11th also....I have missed both period that month and today it is september27 and still no period. I have had horrible breakout the last 2 weeks but it is begining to clear up and as far as other symptoms i have been really hungry at times and most frequently in between meals. As far as weigh gain im as skinny as a board still and after i eat i bloat bad but otherwise no sign of being pregnant, should I take a test....has anyone else been in my shoes?

Hi!
I can not think of a good reason NOT to take a pregnancy test.  If you usually have monthly cycles and they have recently stopped, the MOST common reason is pregnancy.  You may be as far along as 12 weeks, and really should be thinking about prenatal care!  Many doctors offices or clinics offer free pregnancy tests.  You might want to call around and save yourself a few dollars.  TAKE A TEST!
Good luck!

Can you give me some insight to my symptoms, please?? Af arrives this Firday and I have been checking my cervix for two months now and been ttc. We use an OPK this month... My concerns are the color change of my nipple, weird is, its only the very center tip is a lighter shade but nipples itself has gotten darker, also, my breast will normally be very sore by now before af is here, instead it's more tender. It will be sore during the evening and than will be fine in the morning. Also, my position of cervix is still way high and soft... Could this be a preggo sign? I did take test today and Saturday but it was a BFN!! Any ideas???

Thx

Since my period didn't come on time (Friday night/saturday morning)  I tested saturday night.  Faint positive.  I tested again last night, negative.  SHould I wait a little longer to test again?  I was spotting Sunday-Monday and today I have a bright red color when wiping.  Thanks.
