THE FLU!

I just went to the hospital because I haven't been feeling well since last night, an come to find out I have the flu! :/   she said it's a good thing I got the shot when I found out I was pregnant because it could have been a lot worse! I'm on bed rest and a soup and water diet. Just wanted to say make sure you ladies and your loved ones get the flu shot! She said a lot of people are dying from the flu this yr!!

Don't worry if you got the shot then you'll be okay hun! You might still get it, like I did but it won't be as bad. It would be a lot worse if we didn't get the shot!  She told me since I'm pregnant that they can't give me any medication for it and to just stay rested and drink lots of fluids in small amounts.

Breathe hunny the flu shot can also give u last years virus on purpose dont panic and u wont die that shot protextst alot so if u get sick it wont be near as bad as it can get

Kinda worries me I got the flu shot and for 2 days now I've been having flu like symptoms.
I don't want to die or my unborn child :/ My 2 daughters got the flu shot but thank god no flu.

Doesnt matter ur length in pregnancy its offered at all times anytime pregnant or not :) its also protecting from H1N1 which is swine flu... my step daughter had it and thank god my flu shot protected me because I naturaly have a week immune system so I get sick easy

I just posted about this in the other forum last night after reading about the woman who caught the flu before getting the vaccine and both her and her baby passed. I got my first one a couple of weeks ago and am so happy I did! I hope you feel better and take care!!

Yes lots are dying and also number one deaths are pregnant women.... I got my flu shot as well and im very glad I did.... but it doesnt prevent colds that ive learned :(
