Im 16 days late. And i tested with one of those cheap dollar tests, and it was negative. Ive been trying for over two and half years. My period was right in time for three months up until this missed period. Any chance i may be pregnant and just getting a negative.? Any stories familiar to this?

I was similar to the others.I took a test on the day of my missed. And it said negative I took another test 7 days past my missed period and still said negative I did not receive a positive until 17 days past my missed period I also used clearblue advance every time I tested.

I've always heard that the dollar general test work the best. Me & my husband tried to have a child for 3 years. I went to doctors appointments & was always told (by 3 doctors) that we wouldn't be able to have our own child. I still tried different fertility meds & nothing worked. I stopped going to the doctor 6 months ago. A week ago I took a pregnancy test & it was positive. I went & bought 2 more of the cheap tests & they were both positive. Don't give up. I'm not saying your not pregnant, it could be a false negative. Wait a few weeks & retest or see your doctor for a blood preg test. If your not preg talk with your doctor, you have other options you can try. God will bless you when its your time. Good luck.

I took multiple tests! A positive test didn't show up until I was 5 weeks pregnant!  It all depends on you hormone levels!

If you were my patient, I would advise you to repeat the test.  If a second test is negative, you are probably not pregnant, and unfortunately we have posts like this very frequently.
If you have been trying for that long, you should definitely go to see your doctor and have some testing done.  Don't waste any more time!

I used those cheap tests for two of my pregnancies. One didn't show positive till 6 months, that was six years ago. Most recent one i took was seven months ago and it showed positive right away. I actually took three of them and then bought a good one. I would try a better brand.

With my first pregnancy I tested for two months negative but we seen the baby. It's was very frustrating. I had my first period but it was very light and only a few days. Im pregnant again but this time it's a lot different.
