Those of you having or have had boys.....

Hi, this question is for those of you having or who have had boys.  Do you have any specific cravings?  This is my second pregnancy, with the first (my daughter) I had no cravings except smart food popcorn.  This pregnancy is sooo different i am craving things and lots of them LOL.  Salt n vinger chips, peppercini peppers,......spicey/hot/salty type things

I have a feeling that i am carring a boy and was just wonder what your craving are/were.

GOD i can't wait to find out what it is LOL, there are some many things i want to buy LOL espeically if its a boy, i'll have an excuse to get all new things LOL

So i just got back from my appointment I have gained 3 of the 10 lbs I lost back.....not bad i guess.  Everything went well she measured me and I am exactly where i should be 17w1d, and now i get to call and set up my ultrasound appointment!  YAY i will know what it is soon enough!

I am torn, a large part of me wants a boy but the other part wants a girl lol.  It would be great for my daughter to have a little sister she could be best friends with but a boy would be great.  I have 5 nieces and 1 nephew.....and a daughter so poor little jacob is grossly out numbered LOL.

Babbles.....With my daughter i gained 70 lbs......ALL over, people would be like you pregnant? It would make me soooo mad b/c i was 9 months prego and they saw me everyday and couldn't tell even having seen me gain soo much weight.  With this one i have actually lost 10lbs according to my last appoinment.  I have my 17 week check up this morning so we'll see if I have gained any yet in about an hour.

i am in the same boat like you.. i crave spicy stuff every minute every day!! and i JUST HATE SWEET STUFF! even now i am craving for something very darn sipcy!!.. i cant get enuf of it..!! even though i wanted a girl, i am sure enough i am carrying a boy..!

I am 8 weeks along and will be a long way before i can confirm my guts feeling but i could tell for sure it is gonna be a boy!

Well now I don't know what I am having...lol...i haven't found out yet but I crave EVERYTHING!! Salty sweet, hot , sour I mean, there is no distinction with my cravings, it doesn't matter what it is I crave it!!lol! So I guess the old wives tale wouldn't work on me because I want the stuff the stuff you crave whether it is a boy or a girl!!!lol

my mom said that if it's a boy, you usually don't gain much weight on your body whereas if you're carrying a girl, the mother puts on weight all over.

I craved salt-n-vinegar chips with my daughter. I don't think wanting any specific type of food is any guarantee of which gender. My first preg. (girl) I craved certain things. My second preg. (girl) I craved the opposite stuff and swore she was a boy. So... I wouldn't take the cravings too seriously.

my son is going to be 15months withhim i was sick for 5mths but i did crave salty stuff especially corn nuts but they make you constipated i already was from being pregnant but they are so good! LOL! Good luck and God Bless!

i had a boy 5 weeks ago and i found when iw as pregnant i craved salty foods n anythign sour i also craved bologne subs 2 lol had those everyday from subway loaded with mayo :D

I have four boys and now preg with a girl.  I definatly see a difference in my cravings even though with each preg they are different a little.  I never ate hot peppers until I was preg with my first son.  I actually craved them and tried them and ate them on everything I could.  I also loved Dairy Queen ice cream.  I could eat spegetti every night of the week.  (Im a big italian food junky when Im not preg)  However now with a girl...... spegetti is repulsive.  I do not have any desire to eat hot peppers at all.  I have cravings for McDonalds chocolate shakes.  Spicy foods are a turn off which I miss.  I ussually am a big salad fan and even salads are not very appealing.  I guess being preg with a girl has limited my cravings ....Believe me I still eat.  I have gained 38 lbs and I have 3 weeks to go.    In my experience while I was carring a boy I was much more adventureous (?spelling) with food.

god waiting to know is KILLING me LOL.  I am really not good at the whole waiting thing and I am analyzing everything, thinking maybe its a boy or sometimes maybe its a girl LOL

i don't remember any differences in cravings, the only things I noticed different between my 2 girls and my 2 boys....with the girls I carried NOTICEABLY lower and the boys where higher.

Well, I'll be having a boy as you read and I've been more sick with this one than with my girls.  I've also been craving red meat, chips, doughnuts, oh and pizza, I can't get enough.

I am 17 weeks so I'll be finding out soon.  But not soon enough LOL.  I want to know NOW.

Shannon- I to have had the strongest feeling that it is a boy, and my daughter keeps calling everything her brother LOL....maybe its a boy, wither way i'll be happy as long as its heathy

I don't know if I'm having a boy yet but I have had a strong feeling since I found out I was pregnant that it was a boy. Strangely enough I am having similar cravings to you. Spicy, salty, etc. And a lot of red meat!!!

I wanted spicy.... I had to have these chips that we had in mexico. They were spicy with a hint of lemon. I had to eat those a the Sweddish fish cany...... They were so good I craved them through my entire pregnancy with my son....  I was sicker than with my daughter and I had dizziness and fainting with him.  How far along are you?

its so strange how one pregnancy is soooo different then the next.  i was much sicker for longer with the first as well.....

With my son, I had no morn. sickness. And I could eat a jar of pickles,lol. Thats all i really remember....
