UK mummas, HELP!?!

So since i found i was pregnant ive had on and off spotting, never heavy, never had to wear a liner. But its always been red, fresh blood. my doctors refused to let me see my midwife til i had missed 2 periods, 8 weeks, by that point the nearest time i could an appt is when i will be 10 weeks 4 days, because of the spotting i was wondering do you think i could ask her to check for a heart beat with her doppler at my appt? I mean, i know they like to wait til 16-18 weeks because of ease of finding it, but im desperate to know everythings okay.

Thanks again ladies. I had bleeding with my son but that was 20 weeks and due to placenta previa, this time its been very early on and im thinking it cant be that. Yeah im hoping she books my scan in really soon. Alot of people have said of i mention bleeding at my scan she will send me to an early pregnancy unit sooner than my scan date!

33 weeks? Really my midwife checked heartbeat at every appt from 25 weeks, an jaidex if you will be over 10 weeks at your first appt they will book your dating scan at your first appt for 12 weeks so not to mucu longer after.  Only thing you could do is pay for a private early scan its about £40-60

im in the uk and my.midwife didnt let me hear his heart beat till I was 33 weeks :'/

Hi Im from the UK my mid wife won't check for a heart beat that early i saw her at 16 weeks and she wouldn't even check it then i had early bleeding so paid for a private scan you could always go to your local early pregnancy unit.

Thanks ladies. Whats stressing me even more is that i still have to wait a week for my appt. But i know im bot bleeding enough for a and e, i dont have cramps or anything either.  Im definitely going to ask, your right i guess, the only thing they can do is say no.

This happened to me I went to a and e and they scheduled a emergency scan at the early pregnancy unit, they said I couldn't hear the heartbeat this early but they did show me the heart beating on the screen. Hope all is okay. :)

I'm Not In The UK But I Just Had A Doppler Check Last Week At 11 Weeks My Doctor Said You Can Start To Hear It At 10-11 Weeks. Id Ask All They Can Do Is Say no
