Weight Watchers or different ideas?

I know this probably isn't the best fourm to post this on but I know people on here.  I have been trying to get healthy and back into shape but for me it is hard due to medical reason so exercise I really can't do much of.  I have heard a lot about Weight Watchers lately and I just wondered if any of you ladies have used it or heard things, good or bad.  I have only 20 pounds to get to my goal.  I get married in 11 months and want to look good for my wedding day not to mention be overall more healthy.  My fiance is over weight and I can't seem him to do anything about it so I am hoping by my weight loss that will help modivate him.  I started eatting better probably about 2 months ago and went from 145 to 131 but the last few weeks I'm back up at 136.  I would love any ideas, just keep in mind that I can't run, or really any type of exercise involving my legs.  Thanks for any suggestions!

I went on weight watchers after my second pregnancy, but before my third. I lost 35 lbs in for months and i still got to eat what I wanted, just in moderation and they taught me a lot about how important it is to eat high fiber foods and ways to make food yuo eat everyday lighter and healthier. i have had 2 pregnancies since (one miss carriage at 3 months and one full term baby), so i need to go back on the meeting really help, but I don't know why maybe knowing other people are going through the same thing or to keep you accountable, i don't know, but they do. i loved weight watchers and would recommend them to anyone, you lose the weight without having to give up everything you like and you don't have to buy special foods.

My bro used weight watchers in his late teens and lost a lot of weight.

After my oldest DS was born I took hydroxycut (don't know that it really helped), started keeping a food log and keeping an eye on my calorie/fat/carb intake and walked 2 miles a day 5 days a week...I lost 45 lbs in about 5 months.  Too bad I gained it all back now becuase I have a sedentary job and no time to walk/excercise. :(

I used WW before I got pregnant. I had lost almost 25 lbs when I got preg. I am about to start going back now. I loved it. It wasn't like you had to eat there food, etc. but what kept me going was that you had to go in weekly and weigh in.

I used ***********, which is a website where you write in what you're eating, and it calculates fat/calories, and stuff like that. It doesn't actually give you a diet, but it makes you much more aware of what you're putting into your body.  I really liked it. Plus its free, and you don't have to buy special food, just healthier food.

I've just started Slimfast. I don't know how well it will work, but I'll keep you updated. And I tried Hydroxycut, lost three pounds in 11 days and didn't exercise. I decided to try Slimfast this time because I want to change the way I eat. I don't know how hydroxycut works you just take it an hour before you eat.
