What could it mean??

I am 30wks and what could it mean when it feels like the baby is shivering? It happened a couple of wks ago and someone had told me that the baby could get cold in the womb, but it just worries me that something could be wrong, plus as far as the US shows it is only one baby but I can feel a hit about the same time on both of my sides, that didnt happen with my 1st. any ideas of what all this could be.. Thanks

Hey girl your lucky! You don't need to do your kick count so long because your baby is definitely active!

I am guessing hiccups?  Mine gets them almost every day now and you just feel your stomach sort of bounce for a couple minutes - it doesn't harm the baby but it does get annoying after a few minutes of it - lol.  I also have read about the seizure-type spasms so that is a possibility.  But, the baby definitely isn't cold.  :-)

the baby is NOT cold, lol. it's basically the babies developing nervous system causing it to spasm... almost like a seizure but NOT a seizure....

You've seen newborn's move their arms and legs real fast right? like a seizure but they definitely aren't haveng one. It's just how their arms and legs are moving around funny....

also, babies love to stretch and flip around. you could be feeling a fist punching and a foot kicking at the same time, or a head and a butt or any combination of those..... I've had it several times w/both pregnancies and it's completely normal.

The baby is definately not cold. They're so warm and snug in there! :) Maybe it's just hiccups? IDK, have you asked your OB what it could possibly be?
