Worried

I'm nearly 37 weeks and my baby is breech- has been at ever check up I've had.  Tried the ECV but it didn't work.  I just read something in an article that has me concerned:

"...Breech position is also more common in babies with neuro-muscular problems because they do not have the coordinated movements to move to a head down position."

I am so worried :(

Lol Googling is evil it will make you think you are dying and everything is evil and harmful lol but I'm like you I just cannot help it so I stick to scientific articles from reputable sources like mayoclinic instead of wikipedia that way I know I'm at least getting the odds of that horrible thing happening which is usually so slim. When you google you get things like "this will make you die" but not the .0001% chance of death ;) but researching IS important you cannot always trust everything even your dr says. Whatever my drs say I usually double check online to make sure sometimes new research comes out and such. Any who google with caution ;) and good luck you are in the home stretch!!! :D

Thank you for the reassurance!  I spoke to an OB about this and he told me that was very unlikely, the main problem with breech babies has something to do with their hips because of the position they're in for so long... nothing to worry about!  He also told me to stop googling too!!

Googling makes people worry :( that is a worst case senario. Think of it this way, who would want to sleep upside down? I know i wouldn't. I think your baby is smart ;) but in all honesty it's RARELY bc of a neuro-muscle problem. Baby is just being stubborn. Don't worry too much about it baby could still flip!  My cousin went in for a csection bc the version didn't work and baby had flipped on it's own so they induced labor instead. Baby was perfectly healthy and is one year old, walking, talking and doing great
