Yeast Infection during Pregnancy

I am 12 weeks pregnant and was diagnosed with a bacterial infection last week.  My OBGYN prescribed Flagyl Oral to treat the BV but now I think it gave me a yeast infection (which I am very prone to when taking antibiotics).  What over the counter yeast infection meds are safe to use during pregnancy?

Hello,

You can use any of the over-the-counter monistat products.  A five or seven day course will probably be most effective.

My doctor told me to take the Monistat 3 day or Monistat 7 day when I get yeast infections during pregnancy. She said NOT to use the 1 day. Feel better, yeast infections are icky!

I reccomend mycelx or monistat 7 as that was also what my doctor said when I was pregnant. :)  and women are prone to yeast infections when they are pregnant so .. .another thing you can do is eat  PLAIN yogurt.
