When negative blood types are missing the rh factor and procreate with a positive blood type the mothers body can create an antibody that rejects baby. A positive blood type doesn't have to worry about this.

whats the difference between negative and positive? Only negative blood gets the shot? I'm A positive so that means I'm excluded?

I'm 0 negative and already had the shot twice they said once I get to my third trimester I'll have two more. the o.b. said it'll help the baby and I especially later on.

The reason for the shot is so when we decide to have another baby....our antibodies wont attack the fetus...i got mine at 28 weeks(on ur behind) lol then you get another after you deliver
