Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that it is common to feel hungry all the time, and nauseated when your stomach is empty.  I advise my patients to have frequent small low calorie meals and to gain most of their weight in the last few weeks of pregnancy, if possible.  If you wanted to, I'm sure your doctor would refer you to a dietician who could help you with an appropriate diet.
Good luck!

I'm 13 weeks and 2 days. This is my second baby and I feel like I'm constantly eating. If I didn't eat something every 2-3 hours I start to get nausious and lightheaded.  My husband always makes fun of me because now as we leave the house I always toss a piece of fruit or a fiber bar etc into my purse for later. Now that I entered my second trimester I hope things get back to normal, I'll keep you posted. I wish you all the best. :-)

I am 11 weeks now and found that eating little snacks through out the day instead of the usual 3 times a day works better because I would feel sick and hungry at the same time and it would last alllllll day! Then I started eating just a little bit like every 2-4 hours and I haven't felt sick in a week. I even go to bed with grahm crackers in case I get hungry at night when u get up to use the bathroom. Hope this helped.

Hello I'm 10 wks and 3 day and Ugh hh hh the nausea is horrible!  This is my first and I feel like such a bum, I'm in bed almost all day feeling completely drained. The thought of most foods make me have a sour belly. But yet every hour or so I get this burning/ hunger sensation in my upper belly  is anyone else feeling this and if so do you have any suggestions to make it a little easier?

I'm 7 weeks and also constantly hungry. Try to eat healthy foods and snacks that are high in protein. Protein fills you up better than carbs.  Edemamme is yummy and peanut butter and crackers. Fruits veggies etc..

Best for days where you don't feel like cooking 'cause the baby has taken your energy, as well (:

Oh my gosh! I can't stop eating. Every few hours i'm wanting to snack. Just ate a whole box of mac and cheese. I feel like a fatty.
But what you can do is get some steam veggies or fruit. When you feel hungry, try eating them.
Go to the frozen section of any grocery store and under the veggies section, there's 'steam bags' just throw them in the microwave and chow down.
Different brands too. I LOVE them. Yummy and good for you.
Birds Eye has small enough for one person if you eat it by itself.

I wish I could eat.  I was that way with my first pregnancy and I gained about 35 lbs.  Now 7 months after having my son, I'm pregnant again and I can't eat ANYTHING.  Even thinking about food makes me nauseas which makes my head hurt, my stomach hurt, and my throat hurt from throwing up all day. I can't get anything done and have no energy for my son..be thankful you can eat, but also ask your doc what you could do to help cut yourself off when you have eaten enough.  Maybe when you go grocery shopping only.buy healthy snacks like fruits and veggies.
