am I pregnant?

I had a miscarriage last july 7,I'm almost 5weeks pregnant when I lost it..I bleed for about 10 days..my partner and I have been intimate after that,we didn't use any protection..I'm just a bit confuse because until now I haven't got my period yet and I have been having sore breast and some cramping..just like the feeling when I'm going to have a period..but last monday I took hpt and it was positive though the 2nd line is lighter than the other one..I'm a bit confuse,I usually have a 28 day cycle..I hope someone will enlighten me about this..thanks.!

Hi!
txgurl has very good advice.  It is possible that you have a new pregnancy, and it is also possible that your hcg levels have not decreased to zero from your miscarriage.  The easiest way to find out is to have a quantitative hcg done and then repeated in 48 hours.
If the level is increasing then you most likely have a new pregnancy.
Good luck!

First of all Im deeply sorry for your loss. yes you could be pregnant but you could also still have rised hcg levels from the miscarriage. After my miscarriage  it took a couple months for my hcg levels to go back down to zero and my period to start up again. I would recommend going to your ob and geting your blood drawn to check your levels. Then going back in 2 days to see if the levels are increasing. Hope this helps :)
