belly button ring

I got one of the pregnancy rings and put it in and everything but my belly button is red and sore and the bottom has little puss that will come out if squeezed. I think it is a little infected. It doesn't look bad but I'm using antibacterial soap and salt water any other suggestions? Anyone elser have this happen??? Should I worry???

It just started like today so I'm trying the soap and salt and I have a check up with my ob tomorrow so I'm gonna ask her what she thinks too

I had this happen I changed out the ring because my belly button was stretching really bad but then a week later it was red irritated and looked infected. I took the ring out and the red color didn't go away until my belly went down after delivering but the irritation and infected look it had cleared in two days. The hole didn't close by the way I didn't have a ring in for 7 months. I assumed it was because the ring moved so much more and wasn't a metal material. Good luck and hope it clears up if not it wouldn't hurt to see the doc.

I would remove the ring hun. Also, if the antibacterial soap and saltwater dont help clear it up, a trip to the doctor would be advised. Dont want it to get too bad. Take care
