birthing ball???

I heard going on a birthing ball weeks before you due can help with the labour, iv just bin on my ball for ten mins just slowly bouncing & moving my hips round & round, now iv *** off im having wat seems strong braxton hicks but with lots of pressure & shooting pains down below is this normal? Im 36+2 on my. 3rd bby

I can feel my baby's head. He's at station -1. So not engaged, but very low.

Can anybody else feel (on the outside)  bby move their head ? Iv never felt it with my hand or on the outside before ?

Thanks everyone ! But after a few intense BH,  & those horrendus sharp pains i went to bed ! Just got up & im fine no more pain. Although the ball did do something i dont no what but wen i was in bed i could feel bbys head with my hand  moving lots & VERY LOW shes bin fully engaged since i was 32wk iv have never experienced feeling the head that low in any pregnancy !

Now i'm tempted to blow up my exercise ball. So ready to have this baby! Let us know how it turns out.

I'm a ftm but i used my ball thoughout this pegnancy to help relive my back pain, and i was told by every professional ive talked to that bounceing after about 32 weeks could be dangerous considering the conditons. it vary between women but id definatley go get checked.

well if you really are in early labor I may be tempted to get out my birthing ball and sit on it tonight :P

It can be normal. Are they measurable or still pretty all over the place? Wait till your contractions get more close together and consistent!

Maybe you should head to the er or call your doctor....I'm not sure because I'm a ftm but from reading this on here it sounds like you may be in labor.

Now im having shooting pain down below iv had these before but no were near as bad as this im in agony
