breast milk..please help

How long does our take for your breast milk to dry up? I've been super busy and stressed so ive started supplementing when I'm busy and i just tried to pump and some came out but not a full feeding. I can't just pump allot and get my milk back right? Cause i still have some. And I'm so sad I'm not ready to give up breast feeding yet

It might be nipple confusion, stop using bottles for a bit and see it that helps.

If you pump in between feedings just a few times a day you should get a good supply back. Your body produces as much as your baby needs most of the time. It's never bad to supplement especially if you work, you should just be sure to either breastfeed or pump during the day and night to keep your milk coming in.

You will probably have to pump every 2 hours round the clock to stimulate supply.

Fenugreek pills help with producing. Nurse him as much as possible, drink tons of fluids... Google "lactation cookies", its a recipe to help produce as more as well.

Also eating oatmeal and drinking water can help with supply.  Skin to skin contact is best trying to up supply.  Pump in between feedings to trick your body into thinking you need to produce more.  Also visit the breastfeeding board for help too.  Good luck.
