@Geekmom your 100% correct especially in the middle of the night when baby is fussy because of hunger pumps take to long. And if you continue to pump my doctor said it will reduce your breast milk. I breastfed everywhere I go no one even notice because in muslim and I wear extra clothes but its great
I'm planning on breast feeding, it's way better than formula
So agree with @geekmom
Pump is never the same Even your milk changing with your baby's age when you breastfeed coz he/her got different needs but pump its just mashine that not gonna make your milk match to your little ones needs.
It will hurt yh bt if we could take labour pain sore nipples is nothing :):)
Good luck
People generally produce less milk with a pump than when matching on because baby's saliva stimulates letdown much better than a machine. But for me the biggest reason to nurse instead of pump is what I guess you'd call laziness. Why would I want to wash and sanitize bottles and pump parts, hook myself up to a machine, wait 20 minutes listening to the noisy pump, pour the milk into a storage bag, label it, and refrigerate or freeze it... only to have to thaw it, warm it up, find another sanitized bottle and nipple, and feed... when I can just roll over in the middle of the night, unsnap my nursing bra still half-asleep, and latch that baby on? No-brainer in my opinion.
Breast is best! It gives you more skin to skin and bonding with your baby that's unlike anything else
I'm doing both. That way other people can help me out by bottle feeding them my breast milk if i need a break or anything. Plus people love to feed babies and i know that pump will be a lifesaver for me
I'm gonna try to breadtfeed && if the pain becomes unbarable I'll just pump && use the bottle
In my opinion I would breastfeed :) I'm going to try !
