Should nipples hurt while breastfeeding? Idk if im doing it right

Thats most likely why ur nipples are hurting then. I would consult a lactation consultant for help or try watching some youtube videos on proper latch. It takes time but you dont want to keep latching improperly or youll be in a lot of pain to where u will want to stop. Nipple shields are great to use and walmart sells them. Also nipple gel pads are great to soothe them if u put in the fridge.

Yes, some babies latch well. My daughter latch and it was painful. Do you have any nipple Shield. Good luck mom.

The first week, yes. After that, it should start feeling better. You can see if your baby has a incorrect latch if ur nipple looks pinched after feeding.
