But do remember that even just a little bit of breast milk is way better than them never having it. So if you have to stop or just aren't producing enough that little bit of time doing it was super helpful. I was only able to EBF my first for 3 months but since she was 5lbs at birth and she was a crazy super chunky thing at 3 months I know the BM did it's job while it could. She never got sick until she was on formula but I know the BM helped with that so I'm making sure this time I keep up with it the right way.

Ok thanks guys yes I plan to breastfeed while I'm with him and only pump when I leave to go to work so I can leave milk with daddy and grandma but for the first 3 months I plan to be with him and let him suck the milk out andd ok iI'll make sure I try those things to help me produce more milk thanks

Yeah def eat healthy and continue taking ur prenatal vitamins after birth but it kinda comes naturally u can tell if ur producing enough.. Mine get hard n swell up everytime they get full and my baby always gets enough milk.. Just see a lactation consultant also bc they are there for those who need help with breastfeeding..! Goodluck, breastfeeding is the way to go :)!

Did you know actually only 5% of women truly do not produce enough milk?  What happens is baby fusses afted a feeding and it becomes very discouraging to the mother.

That being said, there are pills like fenugreek, and milkshake or lactation cookie recipes you can make to attempt to help but honestly skin to skin contact on the chest is best (let your baby fall asleep with their head on your bare chest) and just bc nothing is produced when pumping DOES NOT mean you are not producing. No pump is nearly as strong as your babys suckle so you may just have to strictly breastfeed. Good luck momma, hopefully this helps a little.
