Has anyone got pregnant while breastfeeding? If so, how did you know you were pregnant if you never got a period?
I got my period back with my first baby while exclusively breastfeeding at 3 months. I had 3 periods and then got pregnant. My first 3 children are 14.5 months apart. Breastfeeding does not prevent you from getting pregnant or having your period.
My grandma did. She got pregnant, had a miscarriage and then got pregnant again immediately after that, while still breastfeeding.
How old was your baby when you got pregnant? I was on the mini pill for a couple days and then I stopped taking it because it made me feel weird, so I bled for three days and I am not sure if that was from the pill or my first post partum period. but I didn't have sex until a week after stopping the pill.. my baby is 3 months old & I have a 2 year old..so ireally hope I'm not,but have a weird feeling and am too scared to test!
I got prego while nursing... You can be on birth control while nursing or be extra careful. I just knew I was prego. I waited about 2 wks until I took a pregnancy test, I didn't want to confirm my thoughts. FYI you can get prego while nursing whether you have your period or not.
